Marsh Dweller Fishing and Captain Dan Kerr welcome you to St. Augustine, a place of beautiful scenery and one of the best fisheries in Florida. Captain Dan has been fishing these waters since 1998 and he will take you fishing the creeks, flood tides, and shallow waters in the area, famous for a variety of inshore species.

Fish species targeted in St Augustine are Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Tarpon, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Cobia, Pompano, and Snook. Captain Dan specializes in sight fishing with spin and fly gear for redfish in super shallow water by push poling the boat into position.

The trip takes place aboard his Beavertail (Flats boat) that accommodates up to 2 guests. This flat boat is perfect for shallow water you’ll be fishing in and provides a smooth and comfortable ride. The boat is powered by a 70HP Yamaha engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 35MPH. It’s also got a Live Baitwell, an ice box, and modern navigation equipment that will move the water safe and quick after your sight fishing.

The charter always makes sure you have top-notch fishing equipment ready, including Penn, Shimano, and Daiwa rods and reels. For Fly fishing, you’ll be using Hatch reels and G Loomis rods. You should bring some snacks and drinks of your choice. Captain Dan will provide everything else, from fishing licenses to fish cleaning, and filleting.

DEPOSIT: A deposit is required for all bookings and will be applied at checkout.

BALANCE: The remaining balance is due on the trip date as either Credit or Cash.

GUEST CANCELLATION: In the event that you must cancel your booking, you must do so 3 days prior to your trip date to receive a refund on your deposit. Rescheduling is encouraged and dependent on guide availability.

GUIDE CANCELLATION: In the rare event that your guide must cancel due to inclement weather, health, or equipment issues, you will have the option to reschedule your charter for a later date or receive a refund on your deposit.

TIPPING: Tips to your guide are greatly appreciated for your quality trip.
